Angry Birds now on Facebook
Angry Birds is now available to play on Facebookafter more than a year in development.
The popular game by Finnish company Rovio has been available for some time on various mobile platforms but until now not on the popular social networking site Facebook.
Rovio have however now taken the leap and launched a Facebook version which will differentiate itself slightly, thanks to a new power-up system for Facebook gamers.
Angry Birds on Face Book
“There are four different types of power-ups and they can be accessed via the lightning bolt button at the top of the screen,” the company said. “You can use two power-ups per level. All power-ups have a different effect but ultimately make you more competitive against your friends by making your birds stronger or more accurate or even by shaking the earth itself!”
Power-ups will cost $1(R7.70) for 20 uses.
